The second part of the assignment requires you (individually) tocreate a wellness program implementation plan based on the proposal you created for the first part of the assignment. You will also incorporate theinstructor’s feedback that you received on your proposal. The implementation plan should elaborate on the proposal’s content in this area, providing details on what the wellness program will look like for employees and how it will be communicated to employees.The module associated with the wellness dimension that you selected will be particularly helpful for this part of the assignment.

This assignment provides you with an opportunity to demonstrate the achievement of the following course learning outcomes:

Instructions

The wellness program implementation plan should elaborate on the implementation section of your wellness program proposal. This is also a good opportunity to reflect on your instructor’s feedback and determine how best to incorporate it within your implementation plan. Consider all aspects of the case study associated with your wellness dimension focus and explain how you plan on delivering the wellness program that you conveyed in your proposal (i.e., what will your wellness program look like to employees?).

As part of the implementation plan, you will also need to determine how you will communicate the wellness program to all employees. You are required to identify multiple communication channels, strategies, and styles, which makes sense to the employee group so that you can achieve maximum reach across the company.

In addition to Modules 1 and 2, the module associated with the wellness dimension that you selected will also provide helpful implementation tips and strategies. You can also incorporate research (e.g., eBooks, online articles, scholarly journal articles, etc.) within your implementation plan. If you do, make sure you include in-text citations and a references list in APA citation style.

Structure yourwellness program implementation plan using the following headings and respond to the guiding questions associated with each heading. You can use a combination of paragraphs, bullet points, tables, and diagramswhen responding to the guiding questions.

A.  Introduction

Provide a brief overview of the company, identify the wellness dimension you are focusing on in your short-term strategy (8-12 months), and justify your selection using information from the case study.

B.  Implementation Plan

  • Provide a brief overview, in point form,identifying the strategies and mediums (e.g., in-person, online, blended)that you will use for the employee group (e.g., Physical Wellness – create monthly workout challenges, Mental Wellness – Employee and Family Assistance Programlunch and learns).
  • What other roles are required to ensure successful implementation? For example, are department representatives/championsand/or senior leaders required?
  • What specific strategies would you use to incent participationfrom the employee group? Consider the demographics of the employee group and the goal of this wellness program.What type of rewards and/or incentives would be appropriate? For example, a draw for a 3-month gym membership for employees who participate.
  • How important is timing of your wellness program to ensure optimal participation from the employee group? Comment on the time of year (e.g., seasonal) and/or time of day (e.g., morning, lunch, afternoon) that will impact the success of the wellness strategies that you identified.

C. Communication Plan

  • Provide a brief overview, in point form, identifying the communication channels, strategies, and styles that you will use to communicate the wellness program to the employee group.
  • Consider the timing of your communication plan, from program kick-off to ongoing maintenance/frequency of communication.How will the medium of communication change throughout (e.g., live kick-off followed by email communication) and how often will it be communicated to the employee group?
  • How will you maximize communication given the location, demographics, and job duties of the employees? Will you need to customize the communication strategies and timing to each department in the organization?
